Uconn commitment WR Brian Lemelle has been name as honorable mention Parade AA. In today's Parade is their list. It list two First team WR AA and four WR honorable mentions. " offensive players needed to show eye-popping numbers against good competition during their senior season and exhibit strong college-level potential, as measured by the interest they've had from prominent programs"

Congrats to Brian. Looks like an outstanding pick up by Uconn.

Nice, great opportunities at the WR position with Smith and Williams graduating.

I'm pretty sure he's our first Parade AA, unless you count Jarrell Miller, which I don't think I do. P's really killing it on the recruiting trail. Does anyone know who his lead recruiter was?

It was a devine convergence... Hank Hughes was chasing him from UConn and TJ Weist was chasing him from Cincy prior to joining PP's staff.

Two things.....pretty impressive list of schools the other Parade AAs are going to. Very good company for UConn to be in.

Second...Parade is still around?

What do you mean are they still around? Obviously they're the industry juggernaut when it comes to grading high school WR talent

I think it was Junior Joseph.

Not for nothing but did you see the Parade Player of the Year (RB Derrick Henry - Bama commit) is 6-3 243 and runs a 4.4 40yd? Insane. Would put him in top 8 of 2012 NFL Combine RB 40 times.

Nice to see. Now let's see how things turn out once he is in Storrs - not like the WR position is loaded.

honestly, i think all 3 true frosh have a chance to play this year....and there could even be a true frosh starter.

All 3 (bradley, thomas, lemelle) look solid.

We have a lot of great young talent at WR. It'll be exciting to see what Weist can do with these guys. I think he uses a lot of 4+ WR sets so these guys and last year's guys will probably get a lot of time on the field.
