Here is a nice article about Bria from John A. today:
Bria Hartley Anxious To Get Second Pro Season Going
Poised to become one of the WNBA's breakout players, Bria Hartley instead begins the new season balancing on crutches. This is what can happen; the stress of an unrelenting playing schedule sometimes results in a stress reaction to the right foot.
"She began feeling it in training camp," Mystics coach Mike Thibault said. "She said it didn't feel 'normal' sore.' But this will not set her back too far. There is a certain calm about her as a second-year player, that makes a big difference. There's a presence about her right now."
In Washington, she was quickly reunited with Stefanie Dolson, her former UConn teammate, the Mystics' first-round pick. And together they tackled the challenge of their first post-college job.
"If possible, we actually grew closer to each other through it all," Hartley said. "We've known each other for a very long time and being teammates in the WNBA just enabled us to strengthen the bond. We are so used to having each other around."
