It doesn't really matter what happened, but what will happen.I t has been an exciting year, seeing Kelly a potential scoring threat,Stef playing towards becoming another great center,KML moving into a class of her own.
I do not think we have seen their best yet.All this experience, good and bad,for the freshmen is a plus as the year winds down.I assume Geno still has not shown everything to Notre Dame,or Baylor,or anyone else.
Hard to believe, you win by 30 over a tough team, and make it sound like the sky is falling.
I say,trust the coaches,trust Geno,trust the development.The best hasn't been displayed,and will be at the proper rime.

If Bria doesn't bounce back we need Caroline to start scoring.

Glenn, earlier in the year I would have agreed with you. In fact I made the same comment about an ugly win back in January. But this isn't January, it was the next to the last game of the regular season and last night the team was still playing 2-5. That works on lesser teams but somebody is going to figure it out.

Last night's game once again exposed a weakness in the team that has gotten worse as the season progressed. They have no backcourt offensive production. They appear to be turnover prone, but they really aren't. They seem to get beaten a lot of defense but they really don't. They just don't score.

How many times have we heard Auriemma say that great guard play wins National Championships? Great guard play isn't just calling the plays and setting the tempo of the game, great guard play has to be some degree of gimme' the ball when the game is on the line. Right now the guard play is either won't shoot, can't shoot or afraid to shoot.

Well, thank goodness I had to read about the weak guard play again. I had almost forgotten.

I'm glad you read it. Now you are better informed.

Of course you didn't have to read it.

Glenn - You don't need to post again to correct a typo, provided you catch it fairly promptly, as you did. Use the edit button.

The ability to do that expires after a time -- I forget how long. If you really need to correct something and find you can no longer edit (or if the problem is in the thread title, which you can never edit), please shoot a private message to Nan, Biff and/or me and we'll change it for you.

Can you change his post to say "Doggydaddy is great"?
