per Rich and Jim Fuller. Bria is nursing a sprained ankle and could be held out the rest of the week, while Moriah has a groin injury and could be back tomorrow.

Ugh. Practices just started Saturday? Hope they get well soon!

Bria's injury started in Greece while playing on the 3x3 team. This is the horde's first access to Geno and the team since the start of practice so it'll be interesting to read what Geno and others have to say.

Well that seems like possibly more of a concern then, since Greece was about a month ago and one would think she'd have been resting it since then. I'll be curious to read more about the extent of the injury and if they hold her out as a precaution or if it's more serious...

What are the details? Hmm Bria since Greece and the 3x3!

It also does relate to previous thread about the # of players in any given year! We have 11 for 2011 At this time 9 for 2013! If we have 9 next year You can't do 5 on 5! It also becomes a problem during the season with 9 and you have injuries! The loss of CD 2 years ago along with Walker leaving in the middle of the season IMHO cost us a NC! Didnt we have 11 going into the season and end up with 9?

Ist I hope they are ok!!!! It does raise my concern of small classes etal resulting in BIG PROBLEMS! In womens BB we are allowed to have 15! Unlike mens BB which allows 13! We do not use a good portion of our scholarships! Now when Johnson and Engelin left we wished them well! We could use them! We had no control over their leaving, but replacing them with players who would be practice players or play in emergencies would help!

Precaution or serious injury? Rich says neither injury is serious but he's probably seeing the head half full.

Normally any kind of groin pull or strain would be more of a concern than an ankle, but if it's a pre-existing injury (with Bria) then I can see why it may require more rest.

I hope both of them heal up quickly!

Since it is a Team USA 3x3 injury holding Bria out, do the Huskies get to use Ann as a fill-in until Bria's back to full health? :p
