BREAKING: FBI says it has documents relating to KU's involvement with Adidas, but can't release them

I love a little good schadenfreude as much as the next guy, but the FBI letter basically says we have stuff that is subject to FOIA but we aren't obliged to give it to you. That could be as simple as a copy of the Nike/KU contract. It also says we may or may not have more stuff that is not subject to FOIA, we're not giving you that either.

Not a lot to hang your hat on if you are hoping for a perp walk at KU in the near future.

The Grammar Police approve of your use of “schadenfreude” in this post. A+

Uh oh, Justice Department releases update involving NCAA basketball bribery scandal. Dave Matter, journalist for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, gives excerpt from indictment text, "The payments were designed to be concealed from the NCAA & Kansas officials, says the indictment..."

Link to the updated indictment from Justice Deparment's website (involves Louisville, Kansas, Miami, etc...):
Those poor victim schools. The NCAA should give them a few more scholarships to ease their pain.
