Not sure his homecoming will be too hard.
Would love to seem incorporated in the offense sets in a way to get more shots. Wednesday would be as good a time as any to start.

I'd like to see him get 12 shots a game. 8 threes, 4 twos. Ish. Run the zoom and Iverson curls we did for Hawkins in '23.
If you actually read the article you'd see his dad is saying the exact things people have been telling you for months and you continue to push back onMeme is meant for the last paragraph.
Playing Butler after our first loss of the BE. Might take the spread by 30.
His dad went over all the talking points on this board from acknowledging he can be a late lottery, 20 pick and he can come back and possibly go top 5 next year.If you actually read the article you'd see his dad is saying the exact things people have been telling you for months and you continue to push back on
He is so efficient and elite as a shooter. Can only imagine if he added an occasional shot fake to his bag. Unstoppable. Looked like Pitino took a quick first half TO to impress on his guys. If the ball is in his hands it's gone. Mitchell block happened shortly after TO.I'd like to see him get 12 shots a game. 8 threes, 4 twos. Ish. BM's parents are salt of the earth. Solid parents. Want the best for their son. Have always felt that they're not pushing BM to the NBA. Will be his call when the time is right.
On another note but related to BM. In his Butler pre-game media availability he mentioned he's working on overcoming the physicality of BE. He'll figure it out. Too smart. Continue to be impressed with his team-first attitude. A great teammate.
I am sure Hurley and UConn will also help them navigate insurance options as well as NIL opportunities at UConn as the face of the program (which he would be). Injury risk is the main concern with not going to the NBA when you are a 1st round lock. His dad went over all the talking points on this board from acknowledging he can be a late lottery, 20 pick and he can come back and possibly go top 5 next year.
He noted the 20s isn’t the worst thing that can happen. Maybe he’s in a rush to get generational money and want to be risk adverse which is understandable. But there’s a difference in teams investing in you like Portland and SAS did with Clingan and Castle. And them investing in you like NOP and CHA did with Hawkins and Liam.
His dad also noted it will be his choice.
This injury conversation happens often with returning players, but who is the last one to come back and got injured to the point it hurt their draft stock?I am sure Hurley and UConn will also help them navigate insurance options as well as NIL opportunities at UConn as the face of the program (which he would be). So if a decent team takes you at 15-22 they don’t care if y develop? Hawk was a lottery pick….hows that working out? Giannis and Kawhi taken 15, out of the lottery. If y show y have the skills teams will invest in y. If y can’t cut it at some point they move on.His dad went over all the talking points on this board from acknowledging he can be a late lottery, 20 pick and he can come back and possibly go top 5 next year.

The Nuggets even invested in that fat Serbian they picked 41st during a Taco Bell commercial. So if a decent team takes you at 15-22 they don’t care if y develop? They don’t care is a very extreme opposite end to go to.So if a decent team takes you at 15-22 they don’t care if y develop? Hawk was a lottery pick….hows that working out? Didn’t most players take out big insurance policies that got them paid in the event that they got injured. I’m sure the premiums aren’t cheap and it’s not nearly as much $ payout vs an NBA contract, but there was usually a safety net. This injury conversation happens often with returning players, but who is the last one to come back and got injured to the point it hurt their draft stock?
I feel like I can’t recall a situation like this but I’m also probably not thinking very hard about it.
I feel like if he leaves this year teams will look at him as a shooter because of his role for this team.Didn’t most players take out big insurance policies that got them paid in the event that they got injured. Would be a dream for him to return but I don’t see why he would. His biggest need is some more lbs but NBA trainers will put that on him in no time.
