He thinks he's a 2 and doesn't want to play behind Omar. Enjoy mediocrity!!

Like I said before, if he's not smart enough to realize how much bigger of an opportunity that UConn is over Providence, we don't want him anyway. Enjoy irrelevance for the next four years!

Until there is a recruit that says the reason they passed on UConn is because of the KO contract, we cant speculate that is the reason.

Well, this sucks.

Not so much that UConn lost Brandon Austin, but that we have to deal with another 10-page thread where PC fans try to act like their school is gaining ground on UConn.

He actually thinks he's a one and doesn't want to play the 2 or 3. Hey good luck to the kid. Maybe it will work out for him. History isn't on his side, but good luck.

i can and ill say it is... if all the reporters say the recruits love ollie and would commit but his contract is the issue... warde is screwing this up imo, regardless if ollie is mediocre this year, a 3-4 year contract will show support and stability

Can't blame this one on Manuel. He's obviously been busy not getting us into a viable conference.

Maybe if PC keeps beating us for recruits, we'll start beating them on the court! I'm still not too worried. Hopefully Ollie will continue to succeed and be extended in the next month or so and the spring kids will jump in. No way to say PC recruiting hasn't been impressive though.

I think Kevin knows more about being a one than any other college coach in the country

and Jimmy puts the most non one & dones in the NBA, so he's ignoring some good advice

did doing such ever work out for anybody?

PC makes more sense for BA if he is set on playing point. He will never start over Boatright or Shabazz, and PC is losing Council. Still a big pickup and talent upgrade for the Friars

Cooley & Andre making a strong recruiting team for a school that hasn't done much. The Big East is falling apart, a school going head/head with them has 3 titles and NBA players galore, and they still grab our Target. Unreal

If the kid liked PC, can't fault him. Why? Who knows. It's a miss and it might be related to Manuel/Ollie contract but I think there are other bigger recruits who UConn def. missed on due to the Ollie contract situation and I honestly am not sure this is the case with Brandon. He chose PSU first then PC, when it comes to basketball, not a huge difference (this year or historically).

Good luck to him.
