This is why we need Alpha. Surely Alpha and Diarra will be able to convince him. I'm assuming he and Diarra are best friends, because of their names. Only makes sense.
 
He reminds me a lot of Derrick rose with the athleticism and his shot is similar as well. Kid is ridiculous.

The part of this video that warms my heart, is that Mamadou is under the hoop boxing out looking for a rebound. Every. Time.
 
Since the original Diallo thread is closed, I guess I'll just post here.

Any news/update on a possible Diallo re-class to 2016?
We do now have 2 open schollies next year And need a guard, sooo....

I'm not mad at that. Wouldnt mind if we put some serious effort into getting J. Simon. Hopefully that would not be a deterrent to Hamidou in 2017. Since Rodney will be gone, it shouldn't.

I hate players who can dunk, I want all players we recruit to be earthbound and preferrably shoot their free throws granny style. The dunk is not an effective way to score points and is just for show offs.
 
Really hope he comes here, looks like a great athlete and love that he shoots his jump shot at the top of his jump. Then really hope someone teaches him the hanging on the rim rules in college, 60% of those dunks would have been Techs.
 
Love, just love, the way this kid knows how to use the backboard in many of his shots
Offensively he is solid
Hopefully he can D it up and get some bounds

There is a scary dude at the 1:36 mark and the 2:18 mark in the clip. In the 3rd row stands alone with a white huskies hat leaning against the rails. That's me. That was the second half of the Putnam Science game at Brewster Academy, shortly after a girl stood under the basket while Hamidou was shooting a foul shot, and lifted her shirt to make him miss. Now that was a highlight they missed.

No worries guys. We'll get him with Geno in the offseason. Geno teaches kids how to play the right way. He'll be playing below the rim in no time.
