I know the NCAA doesn't allow this, at least I don't think they do, but wouldn't it make sense to grant players a medical redshirt semester option as well as the yearly one. Tne way to handle it if in the end the player ends his career with only a half year remaining would be to sit them for the first semester of that final season and activate them after the semester ends or the next one begins. Not ideal but it would give the team the option of not having to sit the player out the entire season while giving the player that half season back if they want it. Seems like a fair way to handle it and win win for all.

It would be nice, and the kid sure does deserve it. But short of injuries or foul trouble, you have to remember that every minute Bradley gets is a minute taken away from Drummond, Oriakhi, Olander, or Roscoe. He's fighting an uphill battle.

The kid deserves playing time but if he gets it there are one of two possibilities for getting the time.

The first is he proves to be much better than anyone expected and carves time away from AO, TO, and RS.

The second is he is not very good but the other players regress.

I don't see Bradley getting much playing time especially with TO's improvement and DD taking minutes away from RS at the 3 spot.

Saw Bradley in the Pro-Am this summer... he has a chance to be a contributor a few years down the line... big body and athletic, under control.... his ceiling is definitely north of Okwandu, for what that's worth
