Bradley doubts he'll wear the shirt again

That's too harsh, he was a good player.
Agree. Granted, we wished we had better, but we really didn't. And truthfully, he was never really used correctly anyway. He was usually used as a 6 or a 10, when he was probably best at an 8. A poor man's Gerrard/Lampard. Wasn't creative enough for the 10 or defensive enough for the 6, but could go box to box, arriving late to score, with a motor that could go all day. He never really had a 6 or 10 to work with. Mostly used with Jones who was also an 8. And like Gerrard/Lampard never really worked that well together.

But hopefully going forward we can move on. Don't want to rely on a 32-34 year old.

His goal against Mexico in 2017 was one f the USMNT all time highlights.

For some reason folks are extra hard on guys who tease us with what they can be. Bradley would show glimpses of stellar play, yet reached that level only occasionally. And you would wonder why he couldn't do it more often?

Certainly better than a pawn at times, but Bradley was asked to be more, much more than his capabilities, mentality, confidence in himself and others around him, etc. allowed. Toronto's a great city. Best of luck to Bradley in his last few several pro seasons.

It's a shame the cavalry was a year too young to change the guard. Bradley was awful in 2018 for the USA and worse during the Copa Centenario.

He'll get his sendoff friendly, and that should be that. He shouldn't be included in any meaningful games anymore.
