My brackets look good thus far, but I have a question for my Boneyard family!

Am the only one that thinks Delaware wont beat Nebraska? ESPN keeps talking about Tennessee vs Delaware! I'm not convinced that matchup is going to happen. I am not entirely sure Tennessee will make it out of Chicago. They could have to play Depaul @ home and the Vols have been very inconsistent this season. Even if they do, then a matchup possibly with Nebraska.

Guess we will see how this turns out.

GO UCONN!

well here's the thing i've read on here from fans who have seen Delaware. EDD is great. but the rest of her team, while solid, is unspectacular. they dont' set screens for EDD, or do anything really to help her score. having said that, they did beat PSU early and played MD in a close one losing by about 12 i think. other than that, they really played no one with a top RPI or ranking. so it's hard to know how good they are.

IMHO Delaware will go as far as their supporting cast takes them. everyone knows EDD can score. but even if she goes hog wild and gets 40 in a game, the rest of her team still needs to step up to score, and defend as well. i've not seen the Blue Hens so i can't speak to how good they are as a team, but limited information does seem to indicate they are solid.

Nebraska is also solid but i have to give the edge to Delaware...

Nebraska, Penn State, Ohio State, and Purdue are all fairly close. On any given day, they all can beat one another.

UD beat Penn State in a fairly close game early in the season. I think UD, if they played in B1G, would be at a similar tier- capable of beating but also losing to those teams.

So in short, a loss to the Huskers wouldn't particularly surprise me, though I'd give UD the edge to win about 6.5 times out of 10. The question is whether the NU team heading into the NCAA tourney is the one who sank like a stone late or the one who made some noise in the B1G tourney.
