Hey hey sports ball fans, we're here in our new home. Link to today's update here.

Duke is back in the top 16 for the first time since the first projection of the season. The Blue Devils return after winning their 13th game in a row on Sunday -- and with a bit of help as six teams on the Nos. 3 and 4 seed lines lost. In early December, Duke was 3-6, had lost four straight and was out of the projection. Now the Blue Devils top the ACC with Louisville at 11-0; their meeting Thursday is the most important game in the conference this season. Duke is 4-5 in Quad 1 games and has eight Quad 1/2 wins against the fourth-rated schedule in the country. An offense that struggled in the season’s first month has found new life playing through sophomore Toby Fournier. In this 13-game win streak, she’s averaging 19.2 points and Duke is putting up over 80 points per game.

Duke and Ole Miss back in the top 16, Baylor and Maryland out.

I would not be surprised if the #1 and #2 seeds end up exactly as they are now. Vanderbilt is the only one I think might fall to a #3. They probably have 2 or 3 more losses coming.

Key thing for all teams it would seem is avoiding that 4th #1 seed and having LSU as your 2 seed.

I coul easily see SCar and LSU flip flopping the 4/5 seeds. They play once in the regular season at LSUsnd there is no team hungrier to get a win against SCar then LSU who hasn’t beaten them in Kim’s era.

SCar. Did not look good last night against A&M without guards Latson and Makeer. Hopefully, they will heal before we face LSU.

3,4 and 5 could come down to the SEC tournament

Today's update here.

Texas’ resounding win over LSU on Thursday was as much a statement for the No. 1 seeds as it was for the Longhorns. Last year’s Final Four participants -- UConn, UCLA, Texas and South Carolina -- have remained on the top line all season. LSU was the biggest threat to change that status quo heading into Thursday but needed to beat Texas. Can the Tigers still unseat one of them? Perhaps. But LSU must beat South Carolina on Feb. 14, the Gamecocks would have to lose an additional game, or the Longhorns would have to drop multiple games. With nothing but Quad 1 games remaining on its schedule, Vanderbilt is also in the mix for a 1-seed. But it’s unlikely for the Commodores to get through that SEC gauntlet unbeaten, and that’s what it would take for them to reach the top line.

No changes to top 16. Villanova a last four bye and Seton Hall a next four out.

Although I used the google machine, it seems that there is only one pre-tourney reveal date, and that's on March 14th, one day prior to the official Selection Sunday bracket announcement.
