GM sportsfans, here's the latest from our pal CC:

Sunday was a good day for ACC bubble teams. Sometimes one big win can elevate a team off the bubble. Clemson and Virginia got those victories and went from Last Four In to Last Four Byes. With an ever-shrinking list of true at-large candidates, those wins provided the kind of cushion that makes an NCAA tournament bid now likely for both teams. Virginia shocked Duke -- which had won 17 games in a row and was unbeaten in the ACC -- on Hannah Kohn's late 3-pointer. Romi Levy did the same for Virginia in its stunner at Louisville. But with every rise there is a fall. The Cardinals dropped from a No. 2 seed to a 3, and Duke lost its chance to get to the 2-line. The conference tournament in Duluth, Georgia, can change things, but Sunday might have been the best-case scenario for an ACC that now has nine teams securely in the field.

Oklahoma back in, Ole Miss out of top 16. Villanova still hanging in with a last 4 bye. Hubby's Navy is matched up with Vandy in first round. @triaddukefan's High Point is matched up with Texas.

Soooooo Nebraska's victory on the road against Washington puts them in the dance and knocks ASU out of the dance.

ASU has a huge game tomorrow against BYU followed by a road game at Texas Tech. A win over BYU gives the Sun Devils the 8th seed and a by in the Big 12 tournament. A loss and we're definitely not dancing at least not in the big one.

Right now it looks like ASU would face Utah assuming they win in the first round. Just what no one wants is to face a team for the third time.

Things are not looking good for the Sun Devils.....

But I am super happy for Amy Williams and the Huskers. I love their announcers....you betcha!

So if ASU is in the WBIT I'm wondering if they would host the first round and if so do they keep hosting until the championship game?

Final part of my fantasy .... why is Mississippi State with a 5 and 9 conference record firmly in? I know I know the SEC and all that but if ASU ends up as a 25 win team with 12 conference wins do they have a case to knock Mississippi State out?

I know I know quad one ..... oy

I feel like the 2-bid Ivy might be something that looks good on paper, at this moment, but as things play out isn't likely to happen. Both teams have a potentially tough regular season game or two left and, at least, one is going to get another loss in the Ivy Tournament. You never know how everything will shake out, but I think they'd need to thread the needle perfectly, in terms of winning all their remaining games and then Princeton(?) losing the Ivy Final.

Princeton can't lose three games to Columbia and get an at-large. For the Ivy League to get two teams, Princeton will have to beat Columbia in the Ivy League championship game and Columbia's coach will have to lobby for yet another at-large bid (this will be her third time in a row doing it).

It feels like the top of the Ivy League (especially Princeton) are not as strong as they were in past years.

Absolutely. ASU is far more deserving than Princeton of a bid. And if Princeton wins the tournament ASU is far more deserving than Columbia.

Columbia has a damning at-large profile, so they've got to win the Ivy tournament to get in for sure. I don't know if their coach will be able to argue for them to get in this year because there's really no argument to be made outside of two wins over a decent, but not really formidable, Princeton team.

Stranger things have happened, but the path to two Ivies is unclear.

Still fighting the fight. Creme has us at 16 for seeding with all these teams ahead of us...just missing kentucky. Hard to believe the AP & the Coaches Poll are 9 spots different than Creme.

OU just has to keep winning, and it will all work out. The win over SC looks pretty nice, along with 6 quad1 wins so far in your sheet.

You will just have to hope the committee reads their paperwork instead of watching sportscenter. 🤓

Hey gang! Here's today's latest:
Wednesday and Thursday shook up the bubble, leaving less separation among the teams fighting for the last few spots in the NCAA tournament. Mississippi State, which lost at Texas A&M on Thursday, is now the next-to-last team in the field. Despite a three-game losing streak, the Bulldogs stay in because of wins over Kentucky, Tennessee and Georgia, a better collection than any other bubble team. Elsewhere, after a convincing home win over A-10 leader Rhode Island, Richmond is now the first team out. Arizona State also tumbled, losing to BYU at home. The Sun Devils desperately need to beat Texas Tech on Sunday to stay alive for an at-large spot. All of the movement cost Kansas a couple of spots despite a win over Colorado, but the Jayhawks could help themselves by following that upset with another at Oklahoma State on Saturday.
No changes to top 16 other than a few 3 and 4 seed region swaps. Villanova finally out of the groups and into the bracket.
