Going to be a slow day waiting for the 9pm tip, so here's some bracketology fun:

CBS: #7 seed in Midwest vs. #10 UNC (1 MSU, 2 Kansas, 3 Creighton, 4 Cincinnati)
NBC: #6 seed in East vs. #11 Oregon (1 Syracuse, 2 Villanova, 3 OK State, 4 Iowa)
ESPN: #7 seed in West vs. #10 UNC (1 Arizona, 2 Villanova, 3 SDSU, 4 Iowa)

Each one has 6 ACC teams, 5 AAC teams, 4 NBE teams.

As long as we get off that 8/9 line I think we'll be fine. I don't really want to play Arizona or Kansas 2nd round, although I wouldn't mind sending those scumbags in upstate home early.

This is pretty much where the #26 team in the country would expect to be if you assume the rankings are reasonably credible.

tOSU is falling hard. And rightfully so.

If we open against UNC doesn't that mean we play them in the state of North Carolina?

It pretty much has become a rule that neither the Heels nor the Dukies travel out of their state until the sweet sixteen at the earliest.

Realistically, a #6 seed maximizes our chances of making a Final Four (best chance to avoid a #1 and #2 seed).

A #4 seed maximizes our chances of people actually considering us to have had a good season and to be relevant nationally, regardless of NCAAT results (although a Sweet 16 or better would help).

Unless we run the table, that's basically our ceiling.

Well we were an 8 seed last week so we are moving in the right direction.

With the exception of maybe at Louisville this team could win every game left in the regular season if they really take care of business. Of course they may not too.

UNC tore up Michigan State inside. They have been inconsistent but when they are good they can beat anyone. Bad match up so not surprised we would draw them. Iowa State was an awful match up too and we drew them as well.

Let's hope that by the time the NCAA rolls around, we have matchups that seem a bit more favorable...
