LSU and Iowa open as top seeds along with UConn and Utah. The Huskies are No. 1 overall in our first projection for 2023-24.

Louisville as the #2 Seed., UCLA #3 Seed and Miss St #4. I don't think UCLA will end up as a #3 Seed.

The other #1 Seeds are So Carolina, Oregon and Oregon St. Will be interesting to see how the PAC 12 teams are seeded. I they'll be beating each other up during Conference Play.

Unless they do something to improve their standing so that they deserve it- thats the way it should be. I was never one for rewarding someone for history. Rewards are nice, but just if they do not come at the expense of someone else who has earned it. Often the cost to someone else is forgotten like it does not come out of someone else's pocket.

So if the goal is to grow the game, why is the regional in Indiana in the 1st place? The Big10 holds their Conference Tournament there now and it is not a big draw. Stick with what works-keep the EAST regional where the support is-Boston, Bridgeport, Albany, heck, Newark, East Rutherford or Barclay Center and you will get 10,000+ at a regional. Play with the other regions if you want but to mess with the East is silly.

Yep. 2006, I believe. It was one of our down years and a big up year for the ACC.
