We're pretty close to where we were on Wednesday. USF/WVU might knock one of those teams out of the bracket. Fortunately, the teams that are currently OUT probably have a long way to go to overtake us, provided we don't screw anything up ourselves.

11-Seton Hall
11-Mississippi State
11-Arizona
12-UConn
12-BYU
12-WVU
13-South Florida*
13-Texas*
12-Colorado State*
12-Northwestern*

Xavier
VCU
Oregon
NC State
Miami
St. Joe's
Dayton
Colorado

It only takes a few random teams winning their conference tournaments (which ALWAYS happens) and we join those teams that are currently out. We need to win tomorrow and log two wins at MSG to shore up a spot. Anything less is leaving things to chance.

If by a few you mean, like, eight. As bad as they've played, as undeserving as they seem...they're a mile inside this thing. It's. A. Weak. Year.

I spoke with Joe Lunardi today as he was at a restaurant I go to in Southington. He is now in Connecticut as he will be on the ESPN studio starting tomorrow. I was asking him about UConn and he was saying how he still had us in but was catching a lot of from people for it. He was telling me how perplexing UConn was this year and how we could use a win. At that moment, Harvard just tied the game to go to overtime and he said "that will help UConn!" It was fun talking UConn bball with him, I was telling him how I was nervous about Hathaway having any say in our fate and he mentioned how it won't be a factor and that Hathaway is a nice guy and won't be able to vote on us anyway. I also told him that whoever is the high seed that gets us is going to be pissed. He replied that I shouldn't be looking at playing high seeds but focus on getting more than 1 win in the last month, but yes, we definitely have the talent and size to make a run. He is a really nice guy!

Beat Pitt and win 2 at the BET and I'll be confident that we're in. Anything less and I'll be less than confident.

I think beating Pitt and winning Tuesday has us in

I also forgot to add that during my conversation with Joe Lunardi, I asked him if the committee would take into consideration the losses we had because Calhoun and Boatright were out for many of our losses. He replied that the committee takes player absences into consideration. However, because Uconn continued losing with Boatright in the lineup, it probably wont be much of a factor.
