ND and Louisville in, Vandy and Baylor drop out of top 16.

Duke fell to a lower 3 seed, looks like #11 overall. Better not let @triaddukefan see this.
Yup. And a reminder that even if a team moves from one region to another, but doesn't change seed, I'm not marking that as a +/- move, even though I get that technically it is. I focus more so on the actual number seed moves. I'd go mad trying to mark everything that is considered +/-.

1. UCONN
2. S. Carolina
3. UCLA
4. Texas
5. Oklahoma
6. LSU
7. NC St
8. Tenn
9. Maryland
10. Ole Miss
11. Duke

13. Iowa St
14. Michigan
15. Notre Dame
16. Louisville

I think that's right?

Hard to know for sure. NCSt could be anywhere #5 to #8, but would get matched up with SC to keep the 4 SEC teams separated. Ditto for Ole Miss, which would get slotted against NCSt regardless of where they were #9-12.

Also shows how B12 is becoming an afterthought -- one team in the top 16; same as the big east.
6 SEC - 5 ACC - 3 B1G

Although our undefeated season going into the NCAA will produce a #1 Overall Seed, no one should look down on our SOS. We have a 2 seed and 3 #4 seeds highlighting our OOC schedule.
I am looking at the bracketology #1 overall by Creme as an up-check, as looking at all the evidence, "using up" all other options, and Creme STILL chooses UConn, must be some serious space between UConn and every other team in the positive direction!!!

Go Huskies!!!

Win each possession and each defensive opportunity!!!

Stay healthy, and those "dinged up" heal quickly and to full strength!!!

Am I missing something? It seems like ND barely has enough bodies to field a team. How are they still in the projected top 16? (Not trying to be a jerk or judgey, honestly curious if I missed some big inbound transfers over the off season or something)
You only need 5.
They still have one of the best players in the game and a decent supporting cast, and a good coach.

Yes absolutely injuries, fatigue, and foul trouble are areas of big concern.

Blueberries, I agree that ND in the top 16 is perplexing. They are a rebuild-in-progress.

Especially perplexing given that there is no TCU even though the program brought in a bunch of quality transfers.

IMO the Horned Frogs will win the Big 12, host the first two rounds as a top 16 seed, and then be the hometown darling in the Fort Worth Regional losing in the Elite Eight.

Creme has them as a 6-seed playing in Sacramento.

File this bracketology edition under "Things That Make You Go 'Hmmmm.....'"

Too late. I saw it and it put me in a bad mood.😡 Looking at some of the riff raff above us smh. Almost lost my appetite for lunch .... but I will soldier on and head to Jersey Mike's.

I think Duke is going to be brutal this season. Kara is building a fearsome program in Durham. I believe they are going to join the top four or five very soon and remain there for the foreseeable future. Of course, Kara could get lured away by the W very soon as well. Not sure she would leave Duke now that she’s on the verge of greatness there but I am convinced she is about to be offered a boatload of money by someone in the W!

I could imagine her leaving for the W if only because she misses good bbq.

They have 11 players on their roster.

I believe 1 or 2 are walk-ons and another is a low-grade transfer.
Still, 8 is as much as Geno started a few seasons with. I’m curious to see what Niele can accomplish with a team no one thinks will succeed. A no-pressure situation may be just what she needs.

At least you're ahead of 'those' people?

Really surprised they are ranked that high, they lost a ton.

Let's simmer down on the Lawson to the pros comment, let me eat lunch first before you get me riled up. 😟

I get the feeling that she likes the teaching and developing young women part of leading a college team... Not worried about her leaving for the pros.

🫨. No franchises in either Memphis or Kansas City so we are safe.

Unless we go undefeated my guess is we will be going to Sacramento as Texas and South Carolina are also slated to have 1 seed level teams and their numbers will likely be higher playing in the SEC. They probably also want Texas in Ft. Worth to sell tickets.
