Women's Bracketology: LSU, Iowa open on top line, but UConn is No. 1 overall

LSU and Iowa open as top seeds along with UConn and Utah. The Huskies are No. 1 overall in our first projection for 2023-24.

Presuming that bracket holds and it’ll likely change a few times before all is said and done, I’m not so sure I would want to go up against either NC State or Kentucky. I watched the Duke and NC State game the other night and those ladies ran up and down the court all night. There was kid from both Duke and NC State I’d love to have with us.

First choice - Louisville, Maryland (Fort Wayne)
Second choice - South Carolina
Third - Baylor
Last - Oregon

IMO, the most interesting matchup in this bracket would be Princeton v. Tennessee.

I'd pop my popcorn and head to Volnation for that show...

I wouldn't mind another crack at SC.

Our problem vs. all of the top 3 is that not only could we not stop them (defense gave up over 70 points in each game), but our offense was offensive. It was pretty bad. Pretty much just one and a half players showed up offensively in each game. Gotta have at least 4 with good offensive games.

Give some credit to each team for shutting us down, but some of that was just bad games - by Megan, Christyn, and Anna/Aubrey.
