Loving the #1 Seed and the Albany-MSG Express. Couple of thoughts...

East Region aka The Battle of the Blue Bloods
  1. UCONN
  2. Kansas
  3. Duke
  4. Kentucky
POTPOURRI
  • #11 Seed St. John's is the BET winner?!?!?!?!
  • Rematch against #8 Seed Iowa State...should be easily avoidable.
  • Doesn't seem to be an ACC Tournament champ...

They're just listing St. John's as the BE champion because they're currently leading the BE standings at 1-0 (nobody else has played a conference game).

That would be a crazy regional. Talk about scouts on scouts on media on media..

Most expensive MSG ticket ever??

seriously. that friday night suite 16 ticket was brutal and that was with isu, uva and mich st. i know those schools have fanbases that travel well, but nothing like uk, ku, and puke.

Hard to take Lunardi too seriously when he has five Big East teams in the bracket and then says in the "conference breakdown" part that the Big East has four teams in the bracket.

Yes, we should discard the entire thing over a typo. Smart idea.

interesting he has Zona as the highest 2 followed by houston, ku, and tenn. i think that's backwards.

Can we not do this? Let's focus on the bracketology and not a urinating match between two posters.
I was just pointing out something I thought was funny. Not sure why anyone would get upset about it.

Breakdown at the end listed Big East with 4 teams, but actually there are 5 listed. UConn, St. John’s, Marquette, Creighton, and Xavier.

I’ll still be shocked if Nova doesn’t play themselves into a post season berth. The committee will overlook the start of the season with the Whitmore injury and if Moore comes back and contributes I think they’ll take that into deep consideration. They’re still a dangerous team if (big if since Achilles injuries are brutal) they have a healthy Whitmore and Moore

Don't you think that's just an editing error?

How did SJU win a conference game and not play a BE conference team?????? You say no one else has played a conference game. Pretty tough to win a game without a conference opponent.

Well, DePaul is 0-1 in conference play, so...

If this was really the battle of the blue bloods, as in programs that could win with more than one coach, then you’d have to get rid of the Duke slackers and insert North Carolina, Villanova or UCLA.
