I’ll take it.

These sorts of things are silly at this point in time, but that quad would be an absolute dream scenario as a four seed. We'd be solid favorites over NC State in a 4/5 matchup and close to a PK against Kansas.

.-.
Princeton would be a tough matchup with their offensive running through 6'8 220 senior Tosan Evbuomwan (13.2p, 6.2r, 4.4a, 52.3 fg%) and a nice mix of shooters.

Are you suggesting that Capel will have a 1st rnd win before Hurley does?

I doubt they'll keep us in MSG as a 4 seed. That wouldn't be fair to the 1, 2 and 3.

Although I should not assume we'll win our first two games anymore

There have been 42 seeded tourneys. The seed of the champions are
(1) 25
(2) 7
(3) 5
(4) 1
(5) 0
(6) 2
(7) 1
(8) 1
UConn won as a 1, 2, 3, 7

So you’re saying someone has to win one as a 5 and it might as well be us?

Actually, I was going to say no team has ever won as a 4 and I wanted us to get off the 4 line. So, I looked it up and I was wrong. Now, I'm saying let's win out and get a 1 seed.

I will take the latest ESPN brackets. I think we could get to the second weekend and have a good chance against Houston in the sweet 16.

I just can’t take Lunardi seriously with his seven ACC schools in the field of 68. Nope.

Kyle Boone bailing on the Huskies.

2. UConn

Odds to win title: +1800

It pains me as a UConn truther to say it, but the Huskies might be pretenders. The 14-0 start to the season was fabulous, and the 15-point home win over Marquette this week was euphoria wrapped inside some early-season nostalgia. However, what we saw to open the 2023 calendar year -- the Hukies lost five of their first seven games -- was alarming. If this team gets its act together and starts rounding into form again, I'll happily jump back onto the UConn wagon. For now, I'm regretfully hedging my Huskies bets.

I know its a bit OT but ACC with 7 in appears to be a joke to me
hardly. 6 easy, mebbe 7.
here's the win totals for the top 6 - 18, 18, 17, 19, 19, 17. #7 has 16.
cuse and Carolina are at 15.
that conference is 108-52 in ooc.

i know, i know, there are no other conferences, teams, or nba players existing anywhere else in the country. or so im told.

Good point maybe his nickname should be joey BrACCets or it could be that the ESPN paid a lot to get rights to the ACC games so they have to try and keep up interest to get viewers. The ACC is as weak as I ever remember.

In 2011, Duke was the 1 in the west and San Diego State was the 2, Arizona was the 4.

I think we get the top 16 bracket reveal at some point next week (possibly Tuesday) so something to watch out for

Are they still doing that? I assume so if they're doing the women's top 16 reveals, but I haven't been able to find any info about when the men's are being dropped

Edit: Of course I found it right after I gave up and posted, next Saturday it is
