I filled out my bracket and was dismayed that I [EDIT] am a reasonably close match to Mr Creme!

So that proves this absolutely WONT be the bracket. :)

15/20 slots an exact match.
Exceptions on the #2 line (Tex/SC/Bay placement), and on the #5 line: he has Maryland in Spokane instead of KC, and then USF instead of Ore St in KC.

Btw, here's my ranking:
  1. UConn
  2. Miss St
  3. Louisville
  4. N Dame
  5. Baylor
  6. Oregon
  7. So Carolina
  8. Texas
  9. Fla St
  10. UCLA
  11. Ohio St
  12. Tenn
  13. Stanford
  14. Georgia
  15. NC St
  16. Texas A&M
  17. Maryland
  18. Mizzou
  19. Duke
  20. Oregon St

I'm hoping for a slight difference. I want to see how Ionescu does against us, though I don't expect it. Maybe Final 4.

Why does everyone give ND a free pass to the FF?

1) how exactly is that a free pass?
2) bracketing is not simple, but if you think you could create a better one I encourage you to try

Interestingly, the South Bend Tribune ran an article today suggesting that ND may end up as the #2 in Kansas City where Miss St. will be the likely #1.

It had quotes from ND Assoc. AD Jill Bodensteiner, who is on the Selection Committee. She's not allowed to be in the room when ND is discussed or vote on anything regarding ND but surely is familiar with the commitee's thinking.

Duke looks like a 5 seed.... in that case... Id MUCH prefer them to be sent to Athens as opposed to College Station.

Yeah I could see ND and Bay swapping (tho I would disagree), but that would mean lots of other changes to the bracket.
If ND is in KC, then NC State can't be.
And an SEC team can't be the #4 in that region (since Miss St is #1), so Stanford gets moved to KC, Georgia to Lex, and NC St to Spokane.
And then UCLA can't be in the same region with KC, so they get swapped with Ohio St.

Hasn't Texas been in the UConn bracket last two years in a row? Also, BU a #2 seed against Miss State? I see them #2 seed against Louisville Notre Dame.

Last year Texas was in Lexington, losing to Stanford in the sweet 16.

UCLA, Duke, Maryland, & Oregon were in UConn's bracket last year.

I filled out my bracket and was dismayed that I almost perfectly match Mr Creme!

So that proves this absolutely WONT be the bracket. :)

18 slots an exact match. The lone 2 differences: he has Maryland in Spokane instead of KC, and then USF instead of Ore St in KC.
What am I missing? Creme's bracket looks very different than yours:

I wouldn't mind a game against Oregon.

Haha, you are correct. I missed the differences on the 2 line. But an exact match on the 1 & 3 seeds and their regions.
I rarely ever say this, but I will be happy if Crème is right. I think your 1 & 2 lines are more realistic, unfortunately.

Nothing to do with probabilities but I’d love a Baylor/Oregon matchup...OR length against Baylor Bigs. If it occurred in Spokane I’d pay to see that

Must have been the two season before...

I like your top 20. I might swap a few in the 14-20 range, but all told, its pretty solid. No comment on the brackets, as I have no idea how that is going to work out. It hurts my head, so I'll wait until Monday.

Point 1: Everyone unanimously agrees UConn is tippy-top dog - no way ND ranks above them.
Point 2: ND lost the ACC conference final on 3/4 to L'Ville and goes 0-2 against the birds during season - no way ND rank above L'Ville.
Point 3: One loss Baylor won the Big 12 conference final on 3/5. Baylor's only loss was in their 3rd game of their season, an away game, to a very solid UCLA team in November - no way ND ranks above them.
Point 4: One loss Miss State lost the SEC conference final to reigning NCAA Champ SC, and having held the #2 overall ranking the entire year, does not lose a #1 tourney seed - no way ND ranks above them.

So how, with the Big 12, SEC and ACC championships all decided on or before 3/5, does Charlie Creme have ND penciled in as a #1 seed when he releases his final brackets on 3/8?

Here's my Top 10

1. UConn
2. Baylor
3. L'Ville
4. Miss St.
5. Oregon
6. ND
7. S. Car
8. Texas
9. FSU
10. UCLA

Rebuttal 1 to Point 3: Notre Dame's only losses were to Louisville and UConn, both of which are better than any team Baylor played all season.
Rebuttal 2 to Point 3: Baylor lost to UCLA, a worse loss than any suffered by Notre Dame.
Rebuttal 3 to Point 3: Notre Dame has 15 wins over the top 50, while Baylor only has 6.
Rebuttal 4 to Point 3: Notre Dame has 9 wins over the RPI top 25, compared to 4 for Baylor.
