I’ve found this to be a useful resource in projecting the field, for those who may not have encountered previously:

Six Big East teams are firmly in bubble territory as of last night’s aggregate. In the field are St. John’s, Butler & Seton Hall (10, 11 and 12 seeds respectively). Big win for Providence last night brings them right on the cusp with Nova & Xavier both in contention for a bid as well.

Only us & Purdue as unanimous 1 seeds across all entries, but Houston close as well. Not sure why Auburn is projected as low as suggested when they’re analytics (#4 overall in Kenpom & #7 in NET) suggest otherwise.

Auburn is a seeded much lower than their analytics suggest. They could be a sleeper in the tournament.

Besides their most recent win vs Alabama, Auburn has no good wins. Next best win is probably @Ole Miss. They did not beat a tournament team out of conference. They could very well outperform their seed in the tournament, but that's why they are lower

Just wanted to note that Bracket Matrix hasn't yet been updated to reflect the Providence win yesterday. I would think that the win should put them squarely in the field now. I would also think that Nova is no longer a true bubble team.

Based on the 2/7 version, here's the conference scorecard:

B12: 10 in, 1 bubble
SEC: 9 in, 0 bubble
BE: 6 in, 3 bubble
B1G: 6 in, 0 bubble
MWC: 5 in, 1 bubble
ACC: 4 in, 1 bubble
PAC: 3 in, 2 bubble

Hard to believe Zags seem likely to miss the tourney all together. Nembhard must be kicking himself.
