How long before BE and Uconn is in that basketball level? The Football conference is already.

Not sure we're going to that level, but we are in a basketball league that is about comparable to the A-10 now.

That's not true the BE is going to still be a good basketball conference, not great but good. What is going to suck is that there will be a lot of crappy teams and it'll certainly be diluted.

It is true, sadly. The 3 of the top 5 teams over the past decade are gone. Other than UConn the remainding decent ones are comparable to Xavier. the SOS will go through the floor as well. And it will be much harder to rebuild programs like Villanova. Of course we'll always have that thrilling SMU-Tulane battle in the Big East Tourney. But it will be in Madison Square Garden so that makes it all right.

UConn, Georgetown, Marquette, Villanova, Cinncinati, Memphis, St. johns, temple. Not a great group(certainly not comparable to the old BE, and one of these is not like the others) but it's a good group of basketball schools as for anyone else in our league..sigh.
