Marshall football notebook: UConn’s Cummings has history with Herd -
http://www.wvgazettemail.com/sports...gs-has-history-with-herd#sthash.1g9CkOe4.dpuf

>>Mike Cummings has gotten back in the trenches with Marshall this week, as his Connecticut offensive line figures out how to block the Thundering Herd’s cat-quick defense.

Cummings serves as offensive line coach and co-offensive coordinator. He coordinated the offense in 2014, before 31-year coaching veteran Frank Verducci was brought on to run the unit.

Cummings was hired at Marshall by coach Bob Pruett, who abruptly resigned shortly thereafter. Mark Snyder retained Cummings, who worked as an offensive line coach and recruiting coordinator, throughout his 2005-09 tenure.<<

According to this writer - UConn appears to have the better practice facilities and hotel.

In the 1st event, @coachfurrey wins Coaches' Crazy legs competition for best legs on a coach. Look for photos @heralddispatch on Saturday.

In 2nd event, @HerdFB's Gary Thompson threw it down on UConn in the Hula Hoop competition. Added a cpl dabs in the middle like a boss!

The dance-off was over before it started with @HerdFB walking UConn off the stage. #YouGotServed

If chants are anything to go on, we are going to win 100-0.

Wow. I remember getting on/off a plane without a jet bridge 35 years ago. It looks so 1960's. Are the Beatles in there?
PIE (St. Pete Clearwater International) has jet bridges, but charter flights to PIE don't have it... TPA (Tampa International) is the main airport...PIE is a nice small airport...(not that small, a bit small in passenger traffic than Bradley).

UConn Football Hits Practice Field In Preparation For St. Petersburg Bowl
http://www.courant.com/sports/uconn...l-st-petersburg-bowl-1222-20151221-story.html

>>Tuesday is a busy day. UConn will practice from about 10:30 a.m. to noon. Marshall and UConn will each send representatives to All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg for a visit at about 2 p.m. There also is a "Fill the Bowl" competition, when the teams will go against each other stuffing as many bags for Feeding America as they can. That event is being held at the Huskies' team hotel, the Vinoy Renaissance in St. Petersburg.<<

Nice hotel they are at....
