From my seat, with the exception of the return game, OL and LB, this might be one of the more talented teams we've had. Those are big holes to fill for sure and we won't challenge for a conf title until we do. That is where patience is required. You shouldn't have to wait three seasons to make a bowl game.

Interesting you described the three units of the program that were the cornerstones of our bowl teams.

.. but you don't measure success in losing seasons regardless of where the measuring stick was entering the year.

Of course you do. Is the team this year better than last year? Is it reasonable to think that next year's team will be better still. Yes to both means the season's been successful.

well one thing is almost certain. We won't finish 6-6. If we get 6 wins regular season we'll be in a bowl to go 7-6
