Better enjoy him while we can, maybe this will finally convince the few skeptics out there about him leaving

The optimist in me is going to take "play two years" to mean he's coming back if the season is cancelled

They also weren't nearly as talented after q year or well coached. They were also very unathletic by NBA standards vertically.
Exactly. This kid is an NBA athlete. He’d get drafted for sure.

In today’s NBA you either need to be a superior athlete or a great shooter. DHam was a stat sheet stuffer in college but was neither of those things.

Tough to say but I take it as him saying he didn't want to play just one year. Not that he was planning on being done after only 2.

Here’s the first Bouknight thread on the yard. Funny to look back. We were gushing over his defense which ironically is his weakness now.

Do you consider Kyle “Slow Mo” Anderson athletic? He’s in the NBA and an important rotation piece for the Grizz. He’s not a sniper from 3 either.

The Lakers roster is full of bums.

Our old nemesis Gary Clarke is in the NBA. He’s not a spectacular athlete. He’s just solid at everything and deserving.

PS: Deandre had unfortunate injuries and that hurt him. He never really gained his footing afterwards. D-Ham is soft and lacks killer instinct or else he’d be in the NBA full time. There are guys similar to both in the NBA today.

*whispers* Hamilton wasn't that good...

I think he got drafted(with the last pick) because he had some potential as a tall point, but he ultimately was not skilled enough as a scorer, passer or shooter to play in the NBA as an on ball player. All without mentioning he has no potential to play off ball.

Kyle Anderson is just lucky you haven't realized he's from NJ yet

Kyle Anderson is a New Jersey point guard, he must be horrendous.

All those bums on the Lakers are better than Hamilton.

Bouk is a guaranteed lottery pick , just depends how high of a pick now. Best thing for the program is he shows out and leaves for the NBA.

It's too late to enter anyways.
There are loopholes like Isaiah Joe used today, but there's posters here who still insist he's unprepared and will come back for a 3rd year. That's who I was referring to

I think its safe to say Bouk will spend one more season in a Uconn uniform and then hes off to the NBA. Kid is an big time talent and appears to have the work ethic to match. Ill enjoy him while hes here and wish him the best when he leaves. As a Uconn fan a guy leaving early is a nice problem to have. I look forward to more of these conversations over the years.

James has NBA athleticism..Been working hard at physical strength and skill development at UConn.. As DH said..He will be a marked man this year.. Can he be an effective two way player at "crunch time" while being expected to be" the man"??See this as one of the remaining questions about the timing of his departure for NBA.. At the end of last year you could begin to see glimpses of that mentality starting to show.. Once he starts to consistently deliver from that perspective.. He'll be ready for some new challenges..Not sure he's ready for Russell Westbrook trash talking him yet..Soon enough..
