Story of the end of the game.

Solid efficient game with clutch moments. It was exciting seeing the ball in his hands to drive, score and take the lead with the and-1. His ability to drive with length and elevate to finish over players at the rim is a welcomed sight after seeing Vital/Gilbert get stuffed repeatedly.

Him reaching in to foul out when Polley was still in decent defensive position was disappointing and deflating. But he's a freshman and he'll learn.

Best case we force Xavier to take a tough shot and we get the defensive stop. Worst case they score but we still have Bouk to put the ball in his hands to dive too the room on the last possession.

Him reaching in to give up free throws and fouling out was the most disastrous outcome.

Hurley needs to let Bouk finish clock winding down plays. First he has the size, then athleticism and touch to do it. It’s a kick in the balls to AG and Vital but sometimes ya gotta accept the truth. We all saw AG drive into the trees over and over yesterday. Can’t do it sorry. I don’t expect 100% success from Bouk but it’s our best chance. Hurley also needs to get Polley kick out touches in those situations. Akok I think will be able to also score but he was glued to the bench in a mystery yesterday.

Bouk should have a look to create offense every time down, so should BA. Polley and Akok should be getting catch and shoot jumpshots

Bouk is the truth...he’s our much needed star player. He’s a stud! Within two games he has our full on devotion. His game is silky and smooth. Give him so true time to adjust, and this kid has the potential to be a Uconn standout even if it’s for a short period of time. Can’t wait to see him put in work in person.

Its crazy because if you take out his 4-13 from the field Vital had a great game if you look at the stats. Problem is the terrible shot selection and poor decision making that doesnt show up on the scoreboard that absolutely kills the team. If he simply looked for better shots by simply taking what the defense gives him instead of trying to force something that isnt there he would be terrific.

Yes, I've heard of this Bouknight. Drains baskets by the hundreds, and if he were here he'd consume our opponents with fireballs from his eyes and bolts of lightning from his arse.
