Bouknight goes off for 20 pts in the 4th qtr

That was awesome. And unless I'm missing something, there's no way that was "all 20 of his 4th quarter points" given that they only showed him hitting 3's.
Yeah I counted 6 3s (18 pts.)

I was reading Bouknight's Wikipedia page. In the section that talked about his episode in the parking garage, someone apparently felt it necessary to mention Doritos being among the items found in his car.

Maybe just maybe this is his best chance to get back to the NBA and he knows it. Really pulling for our guy.
This. Bouknight, in many ways, was the "Chris Smith" of the Hurley era. He was hugely important in getting the team to where we are. But more importantly, he's one of our guys. Of course we're all rooting for him.

We all have our bumps in the road. Unfortunately, Bouk's were very public. I'm absolutely rooting for him to get back to the NBA. He's got the talent to be very successful there.

I am just glad I never went with the Hornets Bouknight jersey on draft night.

He was one of my fav guys of the Hurley era and thought he’d be a bucket getter in the league at LEAST like a Jordan Poole/Cam Thomas type.

I would have absolutely blamed myself for the jinx. I still might. I’m mush.

I’d LOVE him to get a real look with the Blazers.

He just disappears when he isn’t ball dominant. In order for him to have the ball enough to thrive, he needs to play somewhere that really believes in him. I’m not sure he’s got that kind of capital left in the league.

I unfortunately I think this is true. CL82's comment above is true in terms of how much Bouknight's play helped with UConn's resurgence because not only was a he good player that got to the NBA, but his game was good for the highlights.

I don't think Bouk's game would work well with UConn's offensive style since 2023. His basketball skillset wouldn't necessarily be a bad fit as he would have more driving lanes and space due to the offense, but his mentality isn't a good fit for the offense. This UConn offense relies on good off the ball moving and making the correct reads and, like you said, Bouk wants to be ball dominant.

I hope he lands a spot on an NBA roster and can get some minutes to show the world what he can do.

I took a lot of heat being critical of James when he started cramping up in the first half of an early day Big East Tournament game. But, unfortunately I had insights about his Brooklyn posse and to be successful he needed to remove himself from that scene of hanger on types there to party. Unfortunately, just the opposite happened when he moved to Charlotte, which was highlighted/or low lighted by his coach ordering him to leave the bench during a game.
I will be rooting for James and hopefully the 3,000 miles distance he uses to his advantage to open a new successful chapter.
