Bouknight dunk #1 Sports Center Top 10

Also featured on the separate short Sportscenter feature "Saturday's Best: Top Flight".... "that was special"....

It immediately reminded me of that Bobby Hurley-Grant Hill play. Hill was heading away from the basket, which made it tough, but James can apparently levitate, which is pretty cool.

I am down in Mexico on vacation and was trying to watch the top 10 here...completely different set of plays.
Thanks for posting!

Was the #1 ranked highlight from Saturday. Gets even more incredible the more you watch it!

The amazing thing about that dunk is that he planned it from the start. He saw that play potentially develop, gave up the ball and ran to that spot hoping Gaff would read what he was doing. Fortunately he did.

He does that several times a game and doesn’t always get the ball back. He gets frustrated at times when the other guys don’t see what he sees.

If we’re doing comparisons I gotta go with this one.....

Absolute perfectly located pass from Gaffney which contributed to the wind mill.....difference between #1 and nothing. Just goes to show Boak needs it within arms + enormous hands length anywhere near the hoop.

Although this is sort of just a novelty. Things like being on Sportscenter as old and tired as it is for a top 10 play also shows we are on our way back. The talent Dan Hurley is bringing in and will continue to bring in along with the way he has them playing will build on itself. I too jumped off my couch and yelled when this play happened. Freaking awesome and I already can’t wait to be in Gampel on Thursday again

"With the 6th pick of the 2020 NBA Draft..."

:(

Surprised not to read here: "Great dunk, but his defense is lousy and he can't guard a chair" lol

Credit the other freshman, too. I loved Bouk's dry evaluation of Gaffney's assist.

Well, I just read it. And, there is nothing wrong with hoping this kid doesn't rest on his athleticism. We've had plenty of those guys, too. Some even made the NBA but fell short of their potential.

I don't disagree with you per se. I just think when a freshman makes the play of the day, in all sports, it should be just appreciated for what it was. Critiquing his potential and areas of improvement can be left to another day or thread.
