Bouk looked for his teammates. None of them looked for him. He will get absolutely no benefit from playing these games.

Yeah that’s definitely part of summer league and g-league games too for that matter. James already has a spot on the team, most everyone else is trying to get themselves a roster spot.

If James continues to let the game come to him like he did today and doesn’t force anything, he will be looking nice

Hornets found a player in Kai. He seems like a very nice and genuinely happy kid and he can ball. MJ did good this year, finally.

Bouk made some boneheaded plays, but his skillset was beyond evident to anyone watching. Blazers were fielding one of the most experienced SL rosters & Bouk got whatever he wanted against whoever was guarding him. He also had a couple great set up passes & potential assists that were missed by teammates.

Wish the Hornets were playing Houston this summer, Bouk vs. Green would've been must see TV.

Everyone talks about all of his athletic gifts so much that his feel for the game is underrated. Sure, he makes questionable decisions at time, but he scores off of putbacks and makes big defensive plays by being in the right place at the right time.

Really happy that David Duke got a deal, in the right spot he can absolutely make a roster, at least be a G-League dude.

Bouk was pretty terrible in the first half today. Guarded by Davion Mitchell, which doesn't help, but yeah not good. Missed his open shots and missed his tough layups. No assists, 3 turnovers.

Worse 2nd half so far. Two more turnovers. Tried to take Mitchell one on one and it was embarrassing. Ended up stuck and ball bounced off his back foot.

Embarrassing, humbling, but also part of the learning curve that is summer league. Davion was the best perimeter defender in college last year for a reason. I personally don’t think his offensive game will translate well in the league, but his defense will make him a lot of money.

Bouk will be fine & going up against a top level defender will only serve to benefit him as he plays more games. Hope he takes it personally & uses it to work even harder.

He needs to develop a better pullup jumper. It would make taking guys off the dribble a lot easier if the threat to stop on a dime and fire was there.

Agreed summer league doesn't mean anything, but it'd be nice to see him develop some better play making and shooting ability sooner than later.
