Boston has had quite a run of championships the past 10-15 years. I don't know if there's another city that can match the last decade that Boston has had in terms of professional sports success.

Atlanta is the undisputed capital of SEC country. There is nothing like it in sports bars in that town of a Saturday afternoon/evening. Boston has indeed taken home championships for the Sox, Pats, Bruins, and Celtics, but there was a point where CFB Championships went through the SEC. And so many schools from that conference were and are close to Atlanta.
