Well, they did give NC State all they could handle albeit in Boston. This NC team has less talent than the Wolfpack so upsets do occur...I am channeling my inner @triaddukefan and rooting for Joanne..

For the game, NC State shot 53.6% on 30 of 56 from the floor, was 4 of 15 from THREE and 12 of 17 from the FT line. NC State had 17 assists and 20 turnovers (8 in the 4th quarter).

Leading scorers: Elissa Cunane 24 points on 9 of 9 from the field, and grabbed 8 rebounds. Raina Perez finished with 16 points and 8 assists. Jakia Brown-Turner 13 points and Jada Boyd 10 points and 8 rebounds.

For Boston College, the Lady Eagles shot 29.9% on 20 of 67 from the floor, 6 of 22 from THREE and 11 of 18 from the FT line. BC was led by Cameron Swartz and Taylor Soule, each with 14 points (Soule had 7 rebounds) and freshman Ally Timmerman, playing her first college game with 10 points. Clara Ford had 7 points and was the leading rebounder with 7 boards.

NC State won the rebounding battle, 42-34 and led in points in the paint, 44-26.
