Another thread where someone has shown themselves to be an idiot. Pop vance and Pop Ball are similar? In what world are they similar? The reason LeMelo is the basketball player he is today is because he played overseas...

6’9” guarantees nothing but uncomfortable airplane seats & hotel beds, and getting on all the rides at Disney. Gotta put in the work. It’s a shame...hate to see wasted talent and opportunity.

If only someone at UConn he needed to get in to the gym and work.

To me, the most interesting piece of the article is Durham. His freshman year here, you could see the tools he had in his really limited minutes, but he was only getting a few minutes a game and never looked like the staff believed he was ready for more. Was it really the school's decision not to redshirt him? The article starts as if that's the case, but then backs off it later when Durham refers to it as mutual. And in any event, there wasn't much in there that tells you why he left after the first year.

Had Durham redshirted, Enoch, for all his defensive woes, might get enough minutes to stay and when Jackson left maybe there was no exodus. Who knows. But even four years later, Durham at ND, while a solid high major starter, did not have the type of season that I thought he was capable of from his one year at Storrs.
That team started the year with 10 scholarship players because.
Diarra was already redshirting.
Then we lost Gilbert and Larrier.
That killed any hope of Durham sitting out. 8 players with a foul prone Enoch
and freshman CV as your super sub.
with one ball handler.
On paper they had 7-8 top 100 recruits. Teams aren’t made on paper.

Coulda, woulda shoulda. Gilbert, CV and Diarra came with winning attitudes and maturity beyond their ages. Coaching situations did not help at all. We will never know. Life goes on. Best wishes to all those former players. It would be interesting to see what percentage of transfers really benefit from leaving a program from the myriads of programs.
