Been retired for a few years now. Wife really excited to have me home more, "HoneyDo" list pretty substantial. Started out really well, but my productivity in that department has gone down appreciably YoY. She asked me what the problem was. I replied 2023 and 24 Hoops Champs, Genos Gang, FB resurrection, new FB Coach, but mainly BONEYARD. Do you know Husky Medic averaged 6700 posts per year for the last 15 years? I'm only at 246 for 11! Trying to up my productivity. I'll get to that leaky faucet next week!

Every post is a new opportunity to be humiliated, insulted and shamed by your fellow experts.
Get with the program Chief you're never going to finish all those projects anyway.
This is your true legacy. Drip, drip...

There is the old saying. Ladies if a man says he is going to fix it, he will. There is no need to remind him every six months about it ; )
Having been retired for several years now, my balance and stamina is fading. Being anal on some projects I prefer to do it myself but as yourself get up and go has somewhat got up and gone.

Solved the problem this past Wednesday while prepping to paint the living room. I don't recommend this to many but it worked for me. Lost my balance on a step stool and took down a temp drape, knocked over a wooden rocker, TV table, large end table lamp and crashed to end it on a bone shaped dog toy box. Result a couple cracked ribs.
Bottom line honey/myself has a local painter coming in. My step ladder stool days are done.
We are fortunate to share, I got to watch UConn vs DePaul today and also George Town go down to Seton Hall. She now has the tube for a couple of girly shows while I catch up with things here.

My father’s saying was that there is no need get all those things done today. There is always tomorrow.

Kindred spirits. I am banned from ladders. Will occasionally steel myself, check the insurance is paid up and go for it. It’s not the fall, it’s the sudden stop at the end that kicks your butt. Ok, next commit??

Not gonna worry about it. This coaching team seems to have been together for awhile. They likely know exactly what they are doing, the need for speed, and have an assessment of the risks which is on point. Wake me up after spring practice unless they have a blue and white game on a glorious spring day that will require us to drag ourselves away from the whitewater or spring skiing.
