Can anyone help me with the scoring system? I was taking a look at the draft ranking, and couldn't figure how they calculated the fantasy points which they say are based on your specific league rules. For 2010-2011 it has Sullinger listed at 2185 FP.

I calculated 2374 based on:
Assists (3*43) = 129
Blocks (3*20) = 60
FG(2*222) = 444
FGM(-1*188) = -188
FT(1*188) = 188
FTM(-1*79) = -79
PTS(1*635) = 635
REB(2*377) = 754
STL(3*37) = 111
3PT(3*3) = 9
2PTM(2*219) = 438
TO(-2*59) = -118
3PM(-1*9) = -9

Are my stats for Sullinger wrong or am I scoring it wrong?
 
Well, I thought it was overvaluing 3pts a lot (which was going to be my strategy lol), I think 8 FP total.

The scoring values and categories can be tweaked up until the start of the draft depending on what people want. I just had to set the values hastily in order to create and publish the league.
 
tough to convince a bunch of UConn fans to do an ACC only league...but when youre talkin 15 player teams....a 32 team league seems a bit much.
 
I'm looking to the move the draft to this Sunday at around 7:00 at the suggestion of some others. I think it's a good idea as well. Let me know if anyone has any suggestions or wants to move the draft. I also sized down the rosters, and decreased the time allotment for making picks, so the draft should go a lot quicker.

I sent PM's to those who gave me an email but have yet to sign up. Make sure you sign up via the invitation email by the time of the draft.

If anyone has any other suggestions, let me know.

Good point, I'll change it to 7:30, and move it back if the game goes past that. There are obviously a lot of teams, but there won't be a lot of time to pick, so the draft should move pretty fast.
 
Any chance of pushing it a couple days back. Alot of us don't have power and will probly not have computer access.
 
If it doesn't get moved back, hopefully you can set at least a rough draft order you want for it to auto-pick for you before the draft starts, pretty sure I saw that option somewhere.
 
I am without power as well, so I'm going to move back the draft to Thursday at 7:30. Sorry for all the changes.
 
What website are you using for this? I am interested in starting my own with a group of friends. Thanks in advance.

is the draft still planned for tomorrow night at 730? or is it going to be moved again to give a chance for people to get power back?
 
For those in the league, what's your power situation? How many of you will be able to do the draft tonight?
 
I can do it I believe, provided I can wake up in time, and my connection isn't being wonky.

OK, sounds good. We'll probably go forward with the draft at 7:30 tonight. If you can't make it, no problem. Fantrax will automatically pick the best player available for you whenever it is time to pick.
 
Draft is about an hour away.Also, I'm going to throw in a couple more leagues, e.g The A10, so the player pool is deeper.

Think I have to let it autodraft, can't load any of the players in the live draft.
 
I was afraid of this, Fantrax has been giving me trouble for the last week or so. Sorry about that.
 
If everyone agrees, we can try and redo the draft at a later date, but I don't know how much better that would be.

I'm fine with it as is, have a feeling a redo would have the same problem. Maybe fantrax just wasn't designed to handle so many people in a single room. Probably gets worse when a bunch start refreshing and hitting reconnect too!
 
pretty sure the autodrafts that are picking big players at no name schools will have better teams than what i draft haha
 
Connection was pretty bad for me. It worked fine after a while, but I ended up missing the first three rounds. Also, I wish there were projections like you would see during an NBA or NFL fantasy draft. I ended up taking Thomas Robinson with like the 250th pick, which I found pretty hilarious considering many are ranking him as a top ten player.
 
Let me just say, BLord's team is awesome... pretty sure he's winning the whole thing.

pretty sure the commish needs to change the schedule up, there seems to be some issues
 
The auto draft was um interesting. I haven't heard of a single player on my team, my only high major player is from USF. Lol oh well, I was hoping to get some players that would actually be on tv at some point.
 
I was at work when the draft happened. I ended up with Boatright and Drummond.
