The BE never had the nerve to schedule 3 consecutive road games for that candy ass.

Not sure if you were completely joking, but you're basically right. Here's an article from a few years ago where JB is whining about having 3 straight road games: http://blog.syracuse.com/orangebasketball/2010/01/road_warriors_syracuse_sweeps.html

And that article also disproves Boeheim's comment. To be clear about what said, he was specifically talking about road games, not the overall toughest stretch he'd ever faced. But he's still wrong: In 1996, they visited -- and lost to -- WVU, UConn and Georgetown. WVU wasn't great that season (Gordon Malone & Damian Owens), but those UConn and Gtown teams are the ones that met in the BET Final. Uh, I think playing Ray Allen's UConn team and AI's Gtown team on the road was a little harder than going to play 15-12 Maryland and a plucky UVA squad.

Virginia is going to win the ACC, they are as much of a lock for the tournament as we are.

Yeah, what a tough stretch and overrated Dook, a Terps team that won't sniff the NIT and a bubble team Virginia. If Cuse was in the AAC with us they would have 4-5 losses already.

I would like an answer to this. Do you really believe that a team that is 13-1 in the ACC and 22-5 overall is a bubble team?

They're 13-1 in the league and in first place by half a game. Their RPI is around 16. There's nothing crazy about what he said.

UVA's for real. They're going to smoke Cuse at home. I'd far rather face Duke in the tourney.

Syracuse's upcoming schedule is @Duke @Maryland and @Virginia. Boeheim said in all his years of coaching in the Big East he never had a stretch of games that is this hard, this guy is a serious turd.

He is an butthead to say the least

He is just the waterboy for the good ole boys in ACC, plain and simple

Jimmy is a jerk, but a smart jerk. The ACC is weaker than it's ever been and even cuse is nothing to brag about. He has a short memory , but a different allegiance. I had the going down in the tourney at the sweet sixteen anyway.

He's sugarcoating the Cuse team by building up the conference. It works in some instances because lots of people don't have the ability to do critical analysis and are fixated on sound bites. The article by KenPom is very significant because it means that the critical thinkers following college bb are aware of some of the smoke and mirrors of Cuse.

You won't get that critical thinking from the media like ESPN because they are promotors of hype as opposed to substance. They need certain programs to do well because they have money invested in those programs.

Boeheim's stellar 3-9 record against Louisville in the Big East testifies to how easy it was. Especially his 7 consecutive losses.

Even with the Big East dismantled the ACC is still a trainwreck. The college basketball landscape basically handed "best conference in America" to the ACC on a silver platter last summer and they're doing everything possible to push it away.

It's difficult to fathom how awful the conference has been for quite a while. It's Duke, UNC and a bunch of has-been's ever since Maryland's 2002 title.

Well not exactly. You do remember who we played for the national championship in 2004, don't you?

That would be too easy for UConn to advance, what with the Fruit's penchant of bowing out in the first round to the likes of Richmond.

Unless it went to six overtimes....sorry 'bout that but facts are facts
