One other crazy thing about all of this is that investigations were launched at both PSU and Syracuse years ago, and these stories are finally made public? Why wasnt it a huge news story that an investigation was being launched for such awful alleged crimes. Some lady accuses Pitino or Roethesberger of sexual assualt and its national news for two weeks. An investigation is launched over alleged child abuse and it comes out 6 or 15 yrs later??

Right but this is running a story about the accusers. Im talking about an actual investigation involving the police, AD, Prez etc. If an actual investigation was launched (as has been reported at both Syracuse and PSU) then why isnt that news??

Oh oh, Syracuse board says some incriminating news is about to come out, and if one of the posters who seems to know what it's about is right, the ensuing media and public interest will cause the school lots of problems. There's a tape apparently, but it's not a smoking gun. It's enough though to cause plenty of arguments about what went down.

On their board, apparently a few people have heard the news about this "tape". What the tape supposedly reveals is that Bernie Fine and the Davis kid had a consensual relationship after Davis turned 18 and until he was 28. The tape is Mrs. Fine telling Bernie that the relationship has to end. According to their board, this tape was found by the Syracuse PD.

This is all just conjecture at this point, but I thought I'd pass it along in case anyone was interested and didn't want to go over to the Syracuse board.

I don't see anything wrong with what Boeheim said. If a long time friend/family member was accused of something to this extent, you'd be pretty defensive about it as well.

This isn't a family member. He's a coach at a university. People in those positions should hold off on accusing victims of lying. I don't think you have a good analogy.

I'm surprised they got a warrant for his house. What could possibly be there?
