I was surprised not to see his name. Maybe they’re considering him for the Jerry West Award Watchlist this year since Alterique may take on more Point Guard duties. IIRC Jalen was on the watch list for Cousy Award last year though.

I just like that they include Freshman on the initial preseason "watch list". There is literally nothing to base that off of unless the committee that comes up with the list scoured YouTube for High School highlight videos.

The even bigger snub than Jalen Adams is the lack of BJ Taylor on this list...after all he is the official AAC POY.

Freshman shouldn't even be listed, that to me is the biggest insult to Jalen.

All that matters is that Jalen plays like he is the best player on the Court every game.
