The best players on that team make around $1 million. Boat is making some good money, and has nothing to be ashamed of. The taboo of playing internationally is stupid.

The CBA pays much more than any European League
It's loaded with Americans guys with NBA experience.
One guy who kicked around with a few short term NBA appearances says he wouldn't go back
He just signed a 3 year guaranteed contract for $ 1.5million a year
If Boat sticks there he could be in good shape.

Great news on Boat. Playing hoops and making huge money. Although I can think of better places to play. Wonder ifhe was offered from elsewhere. That is my opinion only, still great news.

The CBA season also ends sometime in March, and it's not unheard of for players to make a jump straight from there to an NBA roster.

espn (kevin pelton) are actually working on stat translations from the Chinese league to the nba this upcoming season. I expect plenty of "BOAT is averaging 30 PPG" threads this coming season.

Happy for Boat I hope he makes a ton of money and takes care of his family. Boat bleeds blue

Boat should be well compensated, and Foshan's a pretty convenient 2-3 hour train or quality bus away from Hong Kong. Foshan's not much of a city, so escaping to HK will very likely be an occasional good break. Good luck to Boat.

Boat on NBA TV right now Pelicans vs Lakers and made a 3 pt play with announcers reminding everyone of the key role he played on UConn's National Championship Team of 2014 next to KEMBA WALKER!! Now he has just hit a 3 at end of Q1
