Taken in the 7th round by SF. This is one of the UConn admissions academic casualties that got into Rutgers. Edsall didn't have then power to get guys like Cooper and Harrison into UConn so he never offered. Interesting situation though.....he didn't cut it as a WR at Rutgers and made the shift to CB. Probably wouldn't have had that opportunity at UCONN with BWW and Gratz. Probably would have seen some PT at safety like Byron Jones. always nice to see a CT kid get drafted. Hopefully he makes his mark with the Niners
