Thought it was really good. Slow start need to get by the first 2 or 3 but after that the acting kicks in and the family "issues" start showing up.

Ben Mendelsohn as Danny Rayburn is tremendous I think, great character.

watched the first 2 episodes, liked them, just need to get back around to watching the rest of the first season. Glad to hear it gets even better after the 3rd episode.

Just finished last night, loved it. Like Mau said, takes 1-2 shows to set stuff up, but they do offer an occasional glimpse into the future a few times to keep you hooked...by shows 3 and 4 it starts to kick into high gear.

9 stars out of 10.

All the acting was fantastic, the guy who played Danny was outstanding...whoever casted all the actors hit the nail on the head. The hot head brother was great. And then there was Coach Taylor who I'm sure keeps all the wives watching..

They have re-upped for a 2nd season already so the feedback Netflix got must have been great.

Never even heard of the show but Ben Mendelsohn is an amazing actor, he's great in Animal Kingdom and steals every scene in A Place Beyond the Pines.

I hope by now you've started watching it. He was outstanding.
I'll have to watch Pines now that I know he was in it.

Apparently the hothead brother is a renowned Broadway actor. Quite an array of talent they put together for this show.

Ben Mendelson was superb in Bloodline. Hope he gets an Emmy nod.

I'm on episode 9 and still reserving judgement, but man what a character debate. Don't want to spoil too much but is he inherently bad or is he a product of environment that continues to be stoked?

Struggling through the first two episodes. I will give it another chance.

Don't give up on the show, it's very good. Especially the last 4-5 episodes. Very intense.

I agree this is really one of the most underrated of all the series we watch, read and hear about I think. Stay with it.

It's a slow paced series, but the rhythm works. As others said, it's really very good. Ben Mendelsohn should have won some kind of award for his work in this.
