Blast from the past: Don't they feed our girls?

The recent miserable bone-chilling weather has reminded me of another time of gloom and badness for UConn when they went out to Stanford at the end of 2012 to break the Card's 82-game home-winning streak. But it was a painful time because due to rationing at the school the Huskies were reduced to eating towels by that point, and though Caroline and Stef were able to stay fairly buff on the terrycloth diet, poor Kelly was just taking in water and looked a bit famished.

But hey, after their rough patch they went on to snack down on an 8th NC, and that's what counts in the long run.

Given the expressions on their faces they may have seen Morton's Steak House and Cheesecake Factory signs on the other side of the court.
