So there's this father at my kid's LAX practice who has on this Rutgers "black out" t-shirt. Did they really do black outs? Isn't that dumb? To make a stadium look like a sea of empty seats?

I never understood the fascination with the "COLOR" out.

Until I went to a PSU/Iowa night game in Happy Valley. White Out. That was awesome.

Here, just get people in the seats. Who cares what they wear?

The real question is whether you slashed his tires and if not.....why?

Maybe I shouldn't, but I have a big problem with people who don't wear UConn gear to games. Like the whole tailgate parties of 10-15 dudes in their 40s and not one of them is rocking anything UConn. Like are these dudes that cool where they can't wear their team's gear?

This.

Unless you have an obscene color like fluorescent yellow a color won't work. White outs at night under the lights are what works.

I had read they wanted a pink to be worn for breast cancer month

I love when school do stuff like this. I think we've done it with the students at Gampel a couple times but I can't find pics.

It's even cooler when they get the students to make the S for State in the stands.

Last night's game was crazy with PSU's white out

But black? Doesn't that look like empty seats??? Must be a NJ thing.

I remember one kid had a sign that said 'Rutgers: Birthplace of Blacking Out' which made me chuckle. My tax dollars at work. ;)

It didn't really seem like empty seats. I always find it more looks like empty seats when the seats are whatever the predominate color of the team is and you have seats and people where that color as well.

I grabbed my kid's LAX stick and started chopping, never stopped yelling "KEEP CHOPPING!!"

I think that's what the Glazers are doing when they look at Schiano's contract.
