I remember his trip to UConn when Dodd opened in 1996. The pile of bricks that was old South Campus had been lying around since the fall of 1994 only to be gone in 2 weeks after they announced Clinton was coming to campus. Watching Army Blackhawks from Hilltop landing on the baseball field. The Thursday before the big event, I was heading back to my room and ended sharing an elevator ride with two gentleman, one of whom was carrying a sniper rifle. Decided then and there to go visit a few friends at Ithaca the following day.
