Consistently brings great and insightful info and views. IMO he is the best in the business by a pretty good margin.

Totally agree. Only guy make any sense to me.

Even though he is a Duke alum, he is not bias at all. He is also very knowledgeable about the game, which is refreshing after hearing Vitale all day on ESPN.

I like Bilas to a point but sometimes I think he just likes to talk and feel that he knows everything. Unfortunately he seems to becoming full of himself. Though I do like he doesn't have a Dukie Bias.

i know what you mean but his job is to talk and he does know more than any of the other television analysts, it would be pretty hard for him not to sound like that

His in-game analysis is the best of any analyst in all of sports right now. Plus, his rants about the NCAA are 100% spot on. He is a lawyer by trade which would probably explain his wordiness.

On Bilas: love him. Think he's one of the best in the game.

On a separate note, I thought Steve Kerr was quite good, especially for someone who spends most of his time with the pro game. Most of the TNT guys suck because they have little background.

And his new comemrcial is great. Love this tweet. The guy has a sense of humor.

I'm asked if this is my real son. My wife tells me it is. He smells better after the @dovemencare TV shoot. http://youtu.be/mchWkU5R_zc

he knows the game but he is pretty much a shill for the big time programs. If it was up to him, and he's said this, the smaller conferences wouldn't get automatic bids, and they'd all have play in games. He basically doesn't like mid-majors interfering with the tournament that is meant for the power conferences.

I think he said he doesn't like when the committee pairs mid-majors w/mid-majors in the Tournament...

He was our biggest supporter with the APR nonsense, saying how stupid and hypocritical it was.

So he is A okay in my book

He doesn't like it when teams like St Louis, who earned a 4 seed by playing a great regular season, get paired up with a 5-6 seed in disguise (aka Oregon or OK. State) who are from power conferences. He was really upset this year at the seeding.

Well he almost comes over in a condescending tone nowadays. I know he hasn't been that greatest in picking winners. Though he is an eloquent speaker and I can't disagree with that. I think he really shines when he is matched up with Raffery and McDounough. There humor works great together.
