Big Red Thoughts

Big Red thoughts should have be this:
1. When should I lead the chant....?
2. Now..?...no patience, be patient......
3. WAIT.... how do I make an 'N' !!!
4. Why does the 'N 'always look backwards when I practice in the mirror?
5. Do people behind me see the 'N' backwards?
6. GREAT DUNK, do it now ready .... 'Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuu'
6. Phew, great game, 2 U-C-O-N-N's with no letter screwups.
7. Thank goodness UConn won so that Boneyard trolling and admin cleanup should be easy thru holiday.

If this were last year, Matt Morgan (who was still awesome) would have scored a career high, mostly from three, along with a game winner at the buzzer and a bunch of broken sh%$ including the remote...i.e. my phone. Enjoyed the resilience of this group.

I had to google "basketball, dime".

Is "assist" an old-fashioned term now?

If it was, then I'd be more inclined to use it. Because I'm kind of old, you know?
First time I can remember an announcer call an assist a dime was in reference to Oscar, so it's pretty old.

I never heard the term before. I thought you were trying to start a trend.

One thing is evident, we are developing a killer instinct. That's been missing for some time. In the 2nd half Cornell could never get back in the game.

Eric Cobb's play and production WAS dictated by coaching. Hurley went in with a plan to play mostly one big ... and not necessarily EC. He played sparingly - by design. And that does not take anything away from his MSG and his newfound skillset. There will be games that 6-9 250 will be what we need. Hurley felt he could guard everyone up to the 4 with Polley or TSmith.
