Azzi is being Azzi with her very good defense and overall great offense. Blanca when I compare her to Phessa when she was a freshmen, seems to have better skills to start with as a freshman. Both are effective around the hoop, good rebounders but Blanca seems to be a better three point shooter and very good on defense. The question is, will she work as hard as Phessa to improve each year?

I agree that Blanca may have better skills than Napheesa when she was a freshman. I read recently that Pheesa was injured when she came in her freshman year. She still put up some good numbers even with that insane starting 5 that year. That was Stewie’s senior year and Geno would play them for most of the games. Remember what the Great Taurasi said about Stewie: You better get her in her freshman year”. Now if Blanca put up those same numbers or more that Pheesa put up from her sophomore through senior years, going forward, I won’t ask Santa for anymore gifts. 😆
