Wow, are you guys comfortable with this electronic stuff? UConn account, Ticketmaster Acct, Google Wallet, Apple Wallet, Sell, Transfer, Email etc. Its such a pain. You can beg for paper tickets but no one replies. I understand why some just stay home and watch the news for the final results.
I'll be at the Big East Tournament later today thru the championship game

Yes. It’s not as bad as you think. I was skeptical about the whole Apple Pay and Apple Wallet at one point. I use Apple Pay everyday now and I use it so that TSA CAN scan our plane tickets. I used the UCONN site and transferred tickets to a friend so that both her and her mom could go to a game. It was a simple process. Also uploading the tickets to Apple Wallet is very easy as well. Just don’t lose your phone on your way to the game or the airport. 😂 We went to a Penn State football game a few years ago and the WiFi and phone data signal receptions around the stadium were bad. Couldn’t access the tickets through Ticketmaster so we went to Will Call and they did what they do and we got in with no problem.

I don't know when, but the day will come when my phone, just a minute before it's scanned, will pass to that great digital cloud in the sky. Come on, doesn't every worry about this, just a little?

I got a handle on it but just curious about the "seniors". I thought at one time they'll charge you a fee for the print version but it seems that the option is no longer available. I thought it was to crack down on scalping but maybe it has nothing to do with scalping. I got season tickets to the Hartford Civic Center that I do transfer to others but geesh its not easy for the elderly and young folks who aren't tech savvy

Come on Seniors! (I’m 68) It’s the 21st century. Take the plunge. If you get jammed up, just ask the nearest 5th grader for help. Yes, when technology is an improvement, acknowledge it.
BTW if you have a problem, the UConn ticket office is super helpful.

I am a season ticket holder at both Gampel and PeoplesBank. For an extra $35 or so I get printed tickets. It is easier to deal with paper tickets in providing them to friends or family members. Still able to sell my tickets to a game electronically recently on Seat Geek, though.

Games elsewhere like the Hall of Fame games at Mohegan or NCAA tickets are all electronic - but getting them into Apple Wallet is easy once you have done it once or twice.

The big advantage to electronic tickets is buying/selling on the secondary market - Ticketmaster, Seat Geek, etc. Hoping to go to the Big East finals on March 9 if the prices to go down. Probably not possible without electronic tickets.

I hear you. Have done the e-ticket thing a few times and always hold my breath. Lucky enough to live close to Mohegan so I just hit the box office for the Hall of Fame and Big East tournament games....
