Big East To Invite Smu

Which, as a Dallasite, would be GREAT for me...would love to see UConn in Dallas every few years, especially after TCU so rudely left me hanging. (Won't anyone think of WCBB fans??)

But seriously, I know Geno said he would rather have Temple, and I get it, it makes sense on so many more levels, but my selfishness makes me super excited at the thought of SMU joining!!

From a football perspective unless SMU gets back to the level they were 25 years ago, it doesn't make sense. The Big East won't keep their BCS slot by having SMU join the Big East. However, it would help both basketball programs in recruiting.

They beat TCU this year! And Geno did say that the Big East makes more money from basketball than any other conference. I know SMU isn't the biggest draw, but there is a ton of talent in the DFW area for both mens and women's bball...
