Some may recall that I predicted Hawaii to the Big East, but I must admit I was joking at the time. Although a rivalry with Penn State is enticing, I want us to join the ACC ASAP. If we were to join the Big Ten, we will need a new stadium. The Rent is fine for ACC play. Big Ten football is big time and I don't think we are at that level.

The Big 12 and Big East leftovers are going to merge, and that league will keep its BCS bid. It may add Boise. Baylor, Iowa State, Kansas State, Louisville, Cincinnati, USF, TCU and Boise is not a bad football league, and if BYU thinks there is a BCS bid on the table, they may jump in. It is not a bad football or basketball league. That league will also get a solid deal from Comcast, because there will be no where else to go.

Worst thing that can happen is a merger with B12 leftovers. Boise may be on probation.
